Medical help needed in Houston with no insurance
I am currently employed but do not have health insurance. I’ve recently damaged my knee running and feel like I need to see someone about it vs. letting it sort itself out. I don’t think I can wait to open enroll in November and I don’t have any upcoming life changes that would allow me to enroll.
Can anyone recommend a service that will provide me with guidance or advice on how to proceed the most cost effective way possible? Does this even exist?
I’ve read about Harris Health (I’d be self-pay) and Federally Qualified Health Centers, plus options to pay cash at places to receive discounts but I’m unsure which is the best way to go.
Cash is tight but I want to at least understand what’s up with my knee. I’m just need help finding a cost effective next step.
