Hi all, I've found 2 dead LARGE cockroaches in my Houston airbnb. I'm a patient getting treatment at MD Anderson. Do cockroaches really make people sick? Should I move? If I move, will I encounter them everywhere I go? Thanks for the input!

Hi r/houston, I may be coming to MD Anderson for a clinical trial to treat my stage IV cancer and I need some help. Really, any advice at all would help, but I have some questions. Where should I live? What websites should I explore to find furnished housing? What neighborhoods should I avoid? Has anyone had experience with MD Anderson? Is it a good hospital? Is downtown safe at night? Is the public transportation system safe and good? I'm feeling very anxious about this.
