I'm wondering if any old timers know anything? Could this be a reason why it hasn't been torn down yet? I'm guessing (if it was built) it must be massive...

I've been down on field level doing crew work for UH football (30 years ago) and ... ithink... I remmber seeing massive, vault like doors?? They were not elevators going up.
