Read MoreI grew up in 2nd Ward, moved to Katy, then back to Houston between 2nd Ward and 5th Ward. Now that the Houston landscape is changing so much, when people hear where I live, more than a few times they’ve asked if I’ve ever been to the Original Ninfa’s on Navigation. I tell them how I used to go back in the early 90’s and how Navigation and Ninfa’s were so different back then. But I can’t seem to find any old pics online to show them.
Does anyone here have any old pics to share of what Ninfa’s and Navigation used to look like in the old days before all the renovations? I remember the Ninfa’s being a small white cement/stucco type restaurant and Navigation being mainly industrial with empty dry grass fields filled with junk cars lol… (I’m not glorifying Ninfa’s, just feeling nostalgic for the good ol’days.)
