So in refinery construction there's a thing where workers from the valley charge other people from the valley to get a job at the plants (a refinery). They usually get other people from their small town to come to Houston to work. To each their own but it's a problem because they like to snitch and lie on Houston workers to get them fired that way there is an opening and they can charge another person to get on the job. To make it worse each worker has to kick back money from their paycheck to the person who got them on. They are also known to suck up to the foreman, ignore safety protocols to make themselves look like committed workers, and are very cliquish. They only like other Valley people and hate Houstonians. Let me know if y'all have came across this as well, I would like to hear other stories about this.

I want honest opinions. Is Houston a hard place to find a girlfriend. I know a lot of people that also struggle in Houston. When you go to bars it always seems to be guy heavy. I'd say like 10 guys to 3 women. Also a lot of women already have kids (more than one is a deal breaker). Let me know is it just me or is Houston a tough place for guys.
