I was in Houston for a business trip this past week and my rental vehicle was towed although I had the valid residental permit in my vehicle. I have contacted the authorities and was told to contest the tow via the Harris County Peace Court but to file an appeal is $54. They've already canceled the citation I received. But I would like to know what's my probability of actually winning the contest because I'm already -$270 in the red and don't want to add to that. Thanks!!
