Found out today that Fleming Middle School, in Harris County, allows their students to get in the cafeteria lunch line, pick up a plate of food and immediately (if they don't like the food) toss the food in a garbage bin as they leave the line. So much food wasted that could have been given to the homeless or children who don't get school lunches. Are there any other schools that does the same thing? It's incredible to know this happens in school. Is there anything that can be done?
