Saw a lot of police, fire and EMS heading north from I-10 onto Heights Blvd and Studemont St, turned on the scanner and they're talking about an active shooter at a school with 10 injured. Hope this is just part of that federal training.

Edit: Heights Highschool, 2 suspects with rifles.

FYI and in before the "what's going on at xyz", there's a current police chase that went eastbound on Alabama and currently traveling N on Montrose. It passed by me and listening to the scanner now, car lost front tire. I think they switched to Tac-1 so don't know what's going on anymore.

One friend who lives in midtown renewed their lease last month and had their monthly rent drop by $200. Another who lives downtown was offered $500 off if he renewed but he ended up moving out of downtown. I got the early renewal offer for my apartment and my monthly is only dropping by $23.
