Hey plant people is there a trick-or-treat event?

In Florida we used to have events on Halloween that were basically like trick-or-treat but with plants and candy instead of just candy. Like people would treat with mature and rare plants or “trick” with props and rehabs. There really wasn’t a definition of it people traded or gifted everything.

Lol but everyone loves plants so there really isn’t a “trick” if that makes sense. It was really fun 💚 It was a relatively large event with about ~1,200-1,500 attendees every year.

I’ve been searching for two weeks across instagram and facebook but cannot find where its held here. Can someone let me know please? Thank you

Hello, looking for recommendations on diverse painting and/or pottery classes in The Woodlands or Spring?

I found and visited 2 pottery groups and one acrylic painting class but I forgot the demographic up here was a bit underdeveloped ethnically and age wise. I hope this isn’t rude but the groups consist almost entirely of elderly white woman and the flirty married man. When we complete a pottery project they all compliment only each other, its weird. I tried The Woodlands Art League too, it isn’t really for young adults.

The best art classes I’ve been to had diversity and we respected each other and the studio. People brought in different perspectives, palette choices, painting subjects, creative ideas, and methods even down to brush strokes! It was refreshing and fun. Is there something like that up here?

For diversity I mean any age but where are the Asians, Hispanics, Latinos, African-Americans, and foreign citizens? I’m not from Texas and used to a lot more mingling between races honestly.

Fried zucchini?

Hello, I’ll be sharing this request in my city’s forum too.

What restaurants serve fried zucchini? I have tried searching Google, Yelp, Doordash, and Ubereats for the queries “fried zucchini” and “zucchini”. I even called Flowerchild and a few vegan places to see if its an off-menu item. Lots of bars serve fried pickles but its really not the same thing. Its a fun food I used to order all the time in my home state but have been struggling to find out here.

edit: not sure why my karma is being removed for this post. Sorry if this post sounds unkind, I didn’t mean it to be.

Thank you.
