Coyote in The Heights
I live near 610N and Yale. Was walking to Starbucks around 5:30a this morning and a coyote darted from an alley across my path about 10 feet away. It was right under a street light so I know it wasn’t a dog. I’ve seen plenty of racoons, possums, herons and hawks in 25 years living here but never a coyote. I don’t live anywhere near a bayou so I wonder where they’re coming from? I’m keeping my cat indoors for the next few days. She’s not going to like that.
