I'm renting the house in Katy and paying nearly $2,000/mo. The fridge had started not making ice and has been leaking water for couple weeks. The guy called "Handy-man" came may times to fix the fridge and finally did fix the fridge. A week later, the fridge started not working and keeping the food cold. It's completely not working and that has been 3 days. The landlord kept telling me to talk to the handy-man and the handy-man is not answering or replying text message.

I'm very frustrated. I've been buying 2 bags of ice literally everyday and can't store food properly.

What should I do? Do I need a legal action on this? The appliances were part of the rental contract.
