They re-paved the travel lanes with asphalt, painted the lane markings, but left the shoulders ground down and unpaved, leaving jarring uneven height changes when you drive over hwy 6 on the cross streets. It’s been like this now for over a month! Multiple business driveways and intersections are affected, but 6 and 529 is particularly bad. The light turns green for E/W 529 traffic but nobody wants to mess up their suspension so they crawl through the intersection at 5mph. The light is only 45 seconds long during rush hour, 30 seconds after dark (I’ve timed it) so maybe half-a-dozen cars get through every cycle. It’s causing massive backups and has increased my commute times morning and evening by 15 minutes, just because of this one intersection.
