I recently moved into an apartment on May 4 and about a week into it the AC began to have problems where the humidity would be higher than it was outside on some days, which is about 73% on most days inside the apartment. I've sent 2 maintenance requests where they just do a little ac unit tweaking and cleaning which has not helped, I sent another request stating that the humidity is causing mold to grow in the closet and bathroom and they still have not fixed my issue. In the latest request I included a picture of my digital hygrometer which at the time was 78% humidity. To them the "ac blowing cold, so the ac is working fine" was the solution and are not working with me, and this is only my first month here??

What can I do to maybe be able to end my lease because they are not fixing a major issue? Is there a way to get a professional to inspect my unit to prove to them something is not working properly, because they are not taking my word and are not helping me.
