Small electronic repair for headset
I have a nice bluetooth headset with, apparently, a fatal wire flaw. It has a swing arm mic and apparently the wire for that is run through the board on that side of the headset. The headset is otherwise well built so over the several years of use I’ve put into it, the mic wire has become the failure point.
I try to avoid disposable culture when I can and do my own repairs on large appliances when I can, but after watching a video on this repair I am fairly confident I have neither the skills or tools to do it properly. I assume most cell phone repair places would have the tools, but since it’s not a standard repair I’m not sure how many would even be interested for a reasonable price. I would like to keep the headset and may give the repair a try if I get desperate, but is there anyone that could recommend someone for a repair like this?
