Getting my own apt first time. I have looked up the FAQ for first timers, plans, rates and I think I will go with Gexa's fixed rate 10.6c/kwH. But still curious if there is something better out there. Or something I should be aware of or might miss. Do different plans have different delivery charges and fees?

  • Single, work full time.
  • 2nd floor 1 BR apt.
  • No TV. Desktop only. Minimal furniture. All home cooking. No washer/dryer
  • AC never lower than 74. Usually ~76. Never use the heater.
  • No idea about my monthly usage but it never touched 1000kwh even with a roommate

Edit: I have a friend who has the "9pm to 9am free" plan and pays $37 every month. While watching TV whenever. And she doesn't switch on the AC except for sleeping so that has been confusing me if I should go for that

Any input greatly appreciated :)
