Read MoreI’m looking at the LWV Voter’s Guide responses from the two candidates in the HCC runoff (Eva Loredo & Jharrett Bryantt) and don’t see much difference between them. Loredo leans on “I’m the incumbent, so keep me” a bit but doesn’t make that her only message. The Chron endorsed Bryantt with a justification of “there’s nothing wrong with Loredo, but let’s bring in fresh blood”. Loredo doesn’t seem to have a campaign website. Bryantt does, but it’s content-free (just a form to donate and another form to sign up to get updates, no text on why I should vote for him).
So I’m left with no way to decide between the two.
Anyone here have any solid reason to vote for one over the other?

There used to be Lions Club eyeglasses donation boxes all over the place (many Walmarts had one, for example). I’ve got a couple years’ worth of glasses I want to donate, but I haven’t seen a collection box in a ling time. The Lions Club website says that they still have collection boxes but there’s no list of locations.
So I turn to you: Do y’all know of any places where I can donate used glasses? Bonus points if it’s convenient to Montrose.
