I am talking especially to you pick up truck drivers and muscle car drivers, because nine times out of ten when I see a car on the road whos driver is just out of their flipping mind and putting everyone's lives in danger (which is literally every trip out at this stage) because they can't stand the possibility of arriving to the red light both you and I will get stuck at slightly after or at the same time I will, it's one of you.

Seriously. What is it? Think that the local steak house will run out of steaks if you don't rush there ASAP because you need to feed that 60-inch waistline of yours? Do you think Red Robin is going to run out of cheese burgers? Or are you just so full of yourself that you're such a big, strong, rugged man (or woman) because you drive a super duty pick up (despite the fact that you and I both know you're never gonna haul more than some Wal-Mart bags in your life) or muscle car-that you own the road, traffic laws be damned, and we all need to get out of your way? That the shoulder and left turn lanes exist purely for you to dive into and floor it, then nearly take out another car when you try and force your way in between traffic to get back out of said lanes?

Well, here's the news flash-you're going to get someone killed. I've already seen your ilk take out four cars on I-45, as well as yourself, because you couldn't be bothered to just go with the flow of traffic and had to floor it, dart in and out, and try and pass people on the shoulder. Then, big surprise, you had no insurance and screwed us all over.

To the Houston drivers who DO have a brain and obey traffic laws-thank you. You are keeping people like me sane. And to those of you who put my life, your life, and the lives of other in jeopardy because you cannot stand the idea of getting to the bar a whole thirty seconds later.....please, for the sake of all of us, grow the eff up. You are the reason why places like 2920 is having to put up miles of medians for the express purpose of trying to stop people like you from killing anyone. Which, is going to make EVERYONE'S lives more miserable with all the road work that comes with it.

P.S.-In case you don't know, simple science says that aggressive driving uses a lot more fuel than normal driving. You're already in the most gas guzzling vehicles on the road to begin with. To see people like you throwing tantrums over gas prices is just hilarious. That's called 'karma'.

So, the big Houston air show is coming up in about two weeks, and as a regular participant I know that this show is basically tens of thousands of people packed in like sardines. Granted, I have no idea if the city council may call it off, but if it goes on, I am seriously back and forth on how smart of an idea it may be to go. Any other year, I would say without question 'go for it' with the line up being touted this year, but with our COVID numbers right now and the fact that I don't see them going down in two weeks....not so sure....
