Hey y'all! Planning a drive from Houston to LA. Planning only to stop for gas/bathroom trips and drive through the night (there are two of us switching off). Got some good tips from a smattering of older reddit threads, but wondering if anyone had advice about which stretch (Houston to El Paso-ish vs El Paso to LA) to do overnight, as we have the option of leaving Houston at night or super early in the morning. Also, any updated tips or advice on the drive (especially in times of COVID) will be welcome. We'll be in a rental car, most likely. Thanks!
