I am from Kansas City but come in peace. I have a goal to see every baseball stadium and I am about halfway to my goal. This year in July I am going to Minute Maid Park. I did my research last year but decided to go with Pittsburgh. Last year I found a Houston brewery/restaurant/live music place that was on The Food Network (I think). Now The Food Network is usually great about tracking the places they visit on their website, but I can't find this place again. I am remembering an eclectic menu maybe something spicey that The Food Network focused on but I might pass on that. It looked like a ton of beers and great sandwiches and sides and food truck type specialties but they had their own kitchen. Indoor and Outdoor space and if I recall correctly and it is south of downtown. I also think they had a space for bands.

I know this could not be vaguer but if you have a thought about what it might be let me know. Or give me your Houston favorite breweries, I love to visit a new brewery. Or any great meal.
