Read MoreMixed feedback was given as the former Midtown Sears is basically an entire different building using a former structure.
The Midtown Fiesta, however, won’t be getting the same treatment and most of its renovation will be inside the building, while the outside renovations are mostly decorative. Projected opening is for Spring 2021. If open on time, we are getting 2 buildings from Rice University’s innovation District open next year.
Edit: to make it clear, Fiesta is not returning. This building is to be used as a climate technology laboratory campus. Part of Rice University’s innovation district. Sorry for the confusion
