I have a lot of logistical questions, though:

  1. We want to rent or borrow a bike instead of buying (at least for now). Where is the best place to do this?

  2. When we go to this rental place, where do we park? I assume we'll have to take the bikes elsewhere to ride. Can we fit two bikes in the back of a small SUV (seats folded down)?

  3. We'd like to ride some place that's safe and easy for out-of-shape, middle-aged people. Where is a good place? The White Oak Trail looks fun, but kinda steep.

​4. How do we minimize soreness & discomfort?​ Any special tips for overweight riders?
