Dead fish in Brays Bayou near Stella Link

These are pictures from Brays Bayou yesterday near Stella Link. Normally there are schools of fish everywhere, and I saw none yesterday along about a half mile stretch, just a lot of corpses. The water looked more weirdly green than normal (see pic 2) but maybe I’m just looking for it. There’s no way this is natural, right? Sorry for the gloom but I’m really sad. I hope all the water birds are ok. Here’s 10 pics of different fish to try to show the scale of what happened. The bayou wasn’t some pristine ecosystem but you’d see hundreds of fish along this route last week. submitted by /u/overtowed |
