I'm surprised to find that for being the nation's 4th largest city, there are seemingly no 24-hour cafes/coffeeshops for insomniacs like me. Having experienced life in many cities, it is jarring having moved here and realizing there's no "clean, well-lighted place" - as Mr. Hemingway would say - for lonely, late-night souls.
All google and yelp reveal are Whataburgers, IHOP, the golden fartches and a Shipleys. Is it just COVID, or are there really no places like Buzzbrews or Cafe Brazil (staples of all-nighters in Dallas) to grab a coffee or a decent meal? If you've got the inside details on late-night respites I've yet to discover, please let me know!
