Coming from out of town in April for a couple games – suggestions?
Hey all! My family and I (wife, 2 kids, aged 3 and 6) are heading down to Houston from Calgary in April for the Blue Jays series, and hoping for some advice.
Game tickets – is it best to buy ahead? If so, what’s the best bet – directly from the team or StubHub etc? Now, or do prices tend to drop closer to game days? We’re planning on buying tickets for 2 games and then seeing how the kids do and maybe grab last minute tickets for the 3rd if it all goes well.
Any suggestions on where to sit? Are there any more family friendly sections? Perhaps somewhere we can get up and walk around with the kids a bit if they get a bit stir crazy, but still see the action? Any fun things to do around the ball park?
Would love to hear other suggestions on what to do in town. We’ll be there for a full week. Already planning on NASA and probably the zoo. We’ll be staying in the River Oaks/Hyde Park area.
