I was dinning solo at Hill Stone and took a call from my sister. Ten minutes in a woman working their dropped of a card with a smile. I look at the card and it says “Please! Respect other dinners by taking your call outside -thank you-“.

I just read it and laughed.

The place was a normal, busy, and loud restaurant. Nothing to indicate that they wanted it to be quite or super formal. There were even kids yelling from time to time.

But apparently on their corporate website they state they don’t want you doing that.

Not a big deal I guess (just confusing when considering the context of the general volume of the place) but patrons beware.

EDIT: It is mentioned in the comments all add it here as well. I did comply. I did not fight it, I refrained from using my phone further, asked for the check and a togo box paid and left.

Is it very dangerous? I’ve heard negative things about Sunnyside but what is Southside known for? Is it even worth distinguishing the two when they are so close to each other?

And site is down without being able to tell when power is going to come up.

Anyone any insight it’s getting cold.

Edit: Got text, isn’t controlled in my case but they can’t send anyone out to fix it.
