Read MoreI’ve rooted for the Braves since I was a little girl. I even remember my mom waking me up as a little kid when the Braves won the World Series back when I was around 4-5.
But when I moved to Houston, my husband and I really bonded over the Astros. They’ve really become my team now, practically to the exclusion of the Braves.
But this year, I have the historic privilege of being thrilled no matter the outcome of the Series, because I genuinely love both teams!
I really needed this little bit of happy in my life right now. I look forward to rooting on the ‘Stros with all of you in the coming days though!
I don’t really have a point, I’m just really excited and wanted to share.
PS – Sorry, people who have been fans of the Astros from the 90s / 2000s. I know this isn’t what you wanted!
