I’m having a recurring issue with mice in my walls/getting into kitchen drawers, and our regular pest control folks have recommended we get a company that does professional exclusions to shore up our house and prevent mice from entering. We know its needed, as it’s an 80 year old block and beam foundation with wall cavities wide open at the bottom, and a plethora of wall and roof entry points.

We had Omega Animal Removal (a company that specializes in exclusion and insulation) come out before, and their quote was 7-8k, which was really hard to swallow. They do offer a lifetime warranty which other companies don’t, but the steep price tag prevented us from moving forward.

Other companies we’re considering calling for quotes are Cypress Critter Control and McGrath Pest Control. Both websites say they do exclusion services, but don’t go into much detail.

Does anyone have any experience with these companies or have other companies to recommend? Anyone with experience fixing this issue in old Houston Bungalow houses? Any insight into what a reasonable cost is for sealing a completely unsealed house? Any advice at all would be appreciated!
