Went to Buffalo Bayou Park tonight and parked right around 7. Checked the sign right in front of me that said parking is metered until 7. Hung out for about an hour and came back to my car to find a ticket (and saw the parking officer further down ticketing many other cars). I looked up the citation and was cited for being "parked in a tow away zone." No sign was in sight to say that parking was restricted. The picture the officer uploaded online showed a covered parking meter in broad daylight (marked as taken at the same time as the pictures of my car she uploaded), and there's no possible indication that this parking meter is anywhere near my car. I'm going to dispute this, but curious if anyone has had success disputing BS parking citations?
