Toll bills never came in the mail
I moved here almost 3 years ago and in general avoid toll roads and don’t have a tag, though I intend on getting one ASAP at this point. That said, I have accidentally ended up on toll roads because my sense of direction is absolutely s**t. The first time was in 2020 when everything shut down completely and I think tolling was paused? Since then, I’ve accidentally ended up on 99 maybe twice, going through multiple camera areas.
I’ve never received a bill in the mail. Every time it’s happened I’ve had a TX license plate registered to my TX address, but I procrastinated and didn’t get my license changed from NY to TX until 2 months ago. I’m not sure if that’s the problem?
Anyone else experience lack of toll bills by mail? I’m sure I’ll get a nice big bill with late fees in a year or two.
