Hey all, space enthusiast with a few days off in April.

Money is tight - like two hundred bucks tight - but I'd like to stay in a middle of the road hotel - not too fancy, not too sleazy. I found a Microtel at 1620 E NASA Pkwy - that looks totally reasonable to me for fifty'ish a night.

Also, I'd like to check out some Vintage Toys while I'm in town. I think Third Planet was the number one result - any other hidden gems an 80's kid might appreciate? Anime, Retro Games, Gunpla etc... are all on the menu.

Anything between Houston and OKC I shouldn't miss? I thought I might detour for a LEGO resale place and the Japanese bookstore. Otherwise, I didn't see too much of interest.
