Hello,

I’ve been interested in perusing a career in being a lab tech, I’m looking to talk to anyone who has gone through the program at HCC. I’m also interested in talking to anyone who is a lab tech as well. Thank you!

Fyi bobtail truck is an 18-wheeler truck that doesn’t have a trailer.

Are there any places where someone can park for just a couple of hours (2-6 hours)? Preferably in the Spring Branch area. My friend used to park his truck at a Walmart parking lot but recently they’ve told him that he’s not permitted to do that anymore. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I am making this post for a family member who is on the spectrum. I don’t know the exact extent of their diagnosis, other than that they were described to have Asperger’s syndrome (which doesn’t seem to be an official diagnosis anymore).

They graduated high school earlier this year, but hasn’t been enrolled in any college courses. We are thinking of having them work part-time for a bit because it was quite difficult getting through high school for them. So my question is- are there any places that are hiring and would be friendly for someone who is on the spectrum?

They are able to do tasks by themselves and use technology like computers, but only really struggle with their social skills and being able to verbally communicate (being understood by others).

I appreciate any help and information!
