During the 2020 election there were sites to check the status of your ballot. But now I can’t find any of them now, and I was wondering if anyone know of any.

Does anyone have any idea where this school was? I grew up in the area, but of course the area’s history regarding segregation was not covered (in the 70s or 80s, anyway) so I never heard of this.

I know this isn’t about the Houston area proper, so if anyone has a better sub to recommend, I’d appreciate it.

My question is about Sweeny, in Brazoria county. When I grew up there in the 70s and 80s there was a theater on main street. It has long been torn down, and even as I kid I could never find anyone who had seen a movie there. Does anyone know more or less when the theater was in operation?
