Get on a Waiting List for Leftover Covid Vaccines!
Dr. B (Hi, Dr. B!) is a waiting list that allows you to access leftover Covid-19 vaccines from cancelled appointments, overstock, etc. Thawed vials go bad after 6 hours, so if someone doesn’t show they are thrown out. Which, considering Houston has all known strains of C19 (except that UK one, I think), is beyond unfortunate, and we should do what we can to maximize the use of the resources we are given to combat the pandemic!
Apologies if this has been shared already, but KRBE has been talking about this since yesterday and I think it’s worth trying to get the word out.
