Some action on paper plates?
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick released his list of 84 interim charges for members of the Texas Senate to study until the next regular legislative session begins in January 2023. I’ve put a link to the full list below. Under the Criminal Justice Committee, Patrick writes:
Illegal Temporary License Plates: Examine and report on the relationship of the unlawful sale and use of temporary paper license plates with crimes related to human trafficking, drug trafficking, theft, and homicide.
Perhaps some action will be taken in the next legislative session, although I personally am not holding my breath.
