Snakes (and other critters) in Houston…?
So, I made a post a few weeks back about potentially moving our family to Houston (from the Midwest) and got some great feedback from you guys. My wife however is very anxious about snakes, especially since we have two young boys (4 & 6) who like to play outside quite a bit. Neither her nor I love the idea of having to deal with all the additional bugs (mosquitos for me since I’m blood type O and skeeters love me) but she told me tonight she is especially wary of snakes and really doesn’t like the idea of having to deal with them.
How often do you guys come across snakes (poisonous or otherwise) and other critters when living near Houston? Like, assuming we would be living in a neighborhood/suburb (Sugarland or Katy probably, or other surrounding area)?
