Howdy folks, will be taking a up a new job offer and moving to H-town, the work is remote and I don't have to commute.. Single and will be moving to area around height/wash corridor/memorial park. I'm thinking of getting rid of my car and buying an electric motorcycle , do not plan on driving on freeways and in general trying to limit my mobility ie want to do most things in my neighborhood even if I have to make some sacrifices. My only weakness is coffee and plan to explore as many shops as I can and hang in the social hotspots in and around wash corridor . Is this something practical , I'm aware Houston is notorious for traffic and road conditions but can I dream of a car free lifestyle and zooming in my electric moped lol.
