Hi I'm looking to buy land in the flood plains for my tiny home, I'm wondering if any contractors had experience with building an amphibious type of foundation. Basically it's a house built on a foundation made of floatation materials, and the house is set on rails so it moves up during a flood, and back into place after the flood passes. Anyone with information on this process or contractors experienced in such a project?
