I'm going to be staying in Houston for a few days next month, and was thinking about catching a movie or two during some of the nights there. Are there any theaters I should avoid altogether, due to bad reputation or being located in a bad part of town?

I've poked around the subreddit and keep seeing people recommend IPIC, but I'm not really looking to spend 20 bucks per ticket. I'm leaning towards the AMC Houston 8, but again, I want to make sure I'm not going to run into trouble just to see some friggin' Dragon Ball.
