Unfortunately my wife's car flooded this weekend with the heavy rain on Sunday. The water got as high as the lower back on the front seats. I've already filed a claim with the insurance and am waiting for an adjuster to contact me, but I wanted to go ahead and get a list of good shops around Houston (preferably Galleria area) that would deal with flooded cars. Ideally, I would like to have the car totaled, but in the case that it is not I don't think I want to go with whatever shop the insurance recommends.

The car turns on and runs fine so far. We used a dry vac to take out as much water from the floors and seats and have it it airing out. My main worry is that the insurance company will say that it only needs a deep cleaning and inspection because it runs fine, but it's possible I could have electrical or other issues down the road.
