I'm talking about things like accelerating slowly, trying to maintain semi-constant speeds, letting yourself roll slowly to a stop rather than accelerating then braking hard, leaving lots of room in front of you so you don't have to hit the brakes as often, etc.

If so, have you been successful given that it is pretty much the antithesis to typical Houston driving and can lead to lots of people honking, swerving around you, etc.?
