I'm pregnant and struggling to get answers from either side regarding potential costs of staying on with Memorial Hermann.

- I've filed for continuity of care but according to my last call with BCBS, it is still under review with my next appt in less than a week.

- Memorial Hermann won't directly respond to my inquiries regarding potential costs. I contacted them via the email listed on their page dedicated to the ongoing negotiations. In their response, they just asked about my Continuity of Care status.

- BCBS won't directly answer questions regarding potential costs. My email through their portal has gone unanswered for 9 days and a call with their rep only confirmed that Memorial Hermann could balance bill me and they would not reimburse me if so.

- My provider just uses the words "SHOULD" when discussing potential costs. When I asked for records to be transferred to another system for potential transfer, I got a good guilt trip about "I'm too far along"..."You'll get approved...everything should be covered"....

Has anyone gotten anywhere with this? Or just want to commiserate as well?
