Free Agency (so far) Discussion

Seems like a lot of deals are being made, a majority of them by the Mets and their owner’s large checkbook. We missed out on signing Marte and there are rumors of Andrelton Simmons to NYY. I don’t think other SS’s have been signed as of yet. Or course, Correa is still on the board. Yimi Garcia and Graveman are gone.

What do y’all think so far? It seems like Click/the Astros are still not huge on playing the free agency game and like to hold off until the trade deadline for acquisitions.

EDIT: Semien was also on people’s lists (and mine too) and he’s going to Dallas. Maybe something can happen with the A’s implosion and we get Chapman and move Bregman to SS?

Is Pima Medical Institute a good choice to become a Sonographer?

Hello, posting here because we are located in the Houston area.

My girlfriend is interested in becoming a sonographer. She currently holds her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and is a pharmacy technician, a job she can’t wait to get out of. She has applied and gotten accepted into Pima Medical Institute for their program in sonography.

I didn’t want to interfere in the beginning, but the more I google and search reddit about PMI, the less appealing it seems to be. She is very excited but I really don’t want her to waste her time and money if the school won’t help her achieve her goals. She’s very bright (very good GPA from University of Houston) and also wants to earn while she studies. She gravitated towards PMI because they claim she will be able to take classes without having to attend school from 8am-5pm, so that she may also work at the concurrently, as her superiors at work allow her schedule to be flexible.

Am I worried for no reason? Are there other programs someone here recommends?
