Just saw a woman get dragged out of a car & tossed on the side of the road

I live near Westheimer and Dunvale. My boyfriend & I were playing video games when we heard someone screaming loudly & distraught. A man in a red car dragged a woman out by her hair & dumped her & her stuff right in front of our apartment and sped off. We both went out to see if there was anything we could do to help, but she was crying frantically & didn’t speak good English. This was 30 minutes ago. We gave her some water & pointed towards a few shelters, but none of them open until the morning. I’m concerned, but there’s nothing more we can do to help her. I can only imagine how horrifying it must be to stuck out on the streets as a woman with nowhere to go in the middle of the night.

I just moved to Houston from out of state, been an interesting first few months so far…

Edit: We didn’t call the cops because the woman didn’t want any other help than the water, so we let her be
