I worked at the polls for a bit during early voting. Someone donated 10 (!!!) pizzas for the clerks & judges at our location Friday.

I clocked in at about 75 hours this week. Early afternoon on Friday, we got slow and I felt like I might fall asleep at the check in table. I had been trying to decide if I should take a nap on my break, or if I should go grab some fast food to eat.

That pizza gave me the chance to eat AND nap.

I was able to work the last 3 hours of early voting with a clearer head.

Anyway, thanks for all y'all that voted. I honestly enjoyed helping so many people out, even when I didn't like who they were voting for. (y'all please don't tell us who you are voting for, omg). In several cases I had people come in that seemed very anxious about the process / voting machines - and left surprised and happy with how easy it was.
