Any musically minded Houstonians interested in judging karaoke contests for fun?

A friend of mine runs a local karaoke group and she is looking for musically minded folks to help judge weekly competitions at local bars around the Houston area. There is no pay. This is strictly for fun and for the love of music! (She might buy you a drink. Lol.) It’s typically 2-3 hours each contest. I’ve done it. Lots of fun if you enjoy music.

You’ll get to see some really talented people sing their hearts out, and hang out in some fun bars with great people.

Contest winners move forward to state and national competitions.

Musical background is preferred.

Inbox me if interested!

Protest and Multiple Allegations of Corruption in Galena Park -classic media not covering.

Sorry for the Facebook link below, but traditional media isn’t covering this story….yet.

The incident that kicked it off: Galena Park Mayor Esmeralda Moya and family were caught riding around in a GPPD police vehicle this week. They were confronted by an off-duty Galena Park officer who saw the vehicle at the airport and followed that patrol vehicle TO Moya’s HOUSE in Galena Park. Officer confronts the Moya family, one of whom is armed, as they exit the patrol vehicle. First officer calls a second officer over with a body cam to capture the incident. Afterwards, Moya demands Police Chief Chris Sanchez fire the two officers involved. Sanchez refuses so Moya fires Sanchez. The city refuses to release the body cam footage of the incident.

Moya fired the previous police chief similarly for not complying with her illegal demands during an election. The firing of Chief Rodney Chersky, who had the confidence of his officers despite the politics of the Moya regime, resulted in nearly 20% of the police department staff leaving Galena Park to join other departments. The city has gone through 8 police chiefs or interim chiefs during Moya’s time as mayor.

There is so much going on here including money owed to the city of Houston for overdue water bills. Residents are unsure where the money is. Wayne Dolcefino is involved in a lawsuit with Moya bc she refuses to release the records related to this.

Dolcefino speaks at about 18:35 minutes in.

The city employee’s retirement funds aren’t being paid in a timely manner, work contracts handed out are being questioned, there’s illegally firing. Oh, and she has kept city hall locked for the past 18+ months, essentially locking newly elected officials out, blocking citizens from participating in public meetings and blanketing city hall in the protection of her corruption.
