I am looking for a motivational speaker to give a keynote address to a group of education professionals at a conference in Corpus Christi. Anyone have suggestions for a great motivational speaker? I would much rather have a recommendation from someone who has heard the person speak than go online and try to pick someone that’s trying to sell themselves.

A nonprofit group that I am a part of is looking for a venue to host our statewide conference in 2023. The conference venue moves to different cities around Texas but we haven’t been in Houston in at least 6 or 7 years. I’d like to suggest a site in Houston or the surrounding area. I was initially thinking the Woodlands Marriott, but it doesn’t exactly have easy access to the airports. Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel and conference center to accommodate about 300 attendees that is nice, not super expensive, and has decent access to either Hobby or IAH?

My daughter’s birthday is October 25, and I’m looking for something cool for her and a few friends to do to celebrate. We lived in SA when she was little and used to love the Halloween event at Sea World, but that’s not really feasible. She’s done the 13th floor haunted house a couple of times, but I’m looking for something a little more engaging. Any suggestions?
