Does this seem like a good electricity plan? (My 1st time connecting)

I’ve never bought an electricity plan before, so I have done some research today, and also used https://shop.comparepower.com/ to try to find a good plan for the 1 bedroom I’m moving into with another person, and have low usage.

So far, it seems that Constellation’s 12 Month GREEN (No Min Usage Fee) plan is the best based on the info below, but I’m not completely sure.

  • It’s fixed rate, 11.3 cents for 500 kwh av use/ 10.9 for 1000 kwh avg use.
  • “monthly Base Charge per ESI-ID of $0.00 (NOTE: A Minimum Usage Fee of $0 will apply if usage is less than or equal to 999 kWh in a billing period) ” (wheras others had a $5 base charge and sometimes minimum usage fees)
  • Additional Charges & Fees on their Terms & Conditions are:
late payment, returned check, insufficient funds, disconnection fee, Re-connection fee, paying bill on the phone, “any charges or fees that the TDU charges Constellation including but not limited to fees to initiate or switch service, transport and distribute electricityto your service location, read your meter, and terminate or restore service.”

Does this seem like a decent plan?

Is there any other factor I should look into?

Thank you so much!
