How does Houston truly compare to Chicago? I’m from Chicagoland but have visited Houston once and enjoyed it. I was wondering how life is day to day in Houston compared to Chicago though? I am looking into moving to Houston in the near future and would like to hear peoples opinions on how both cities compare? My main questions would be if Houston traffic is as bad as people say it is? I honestly didn’t experience much traffic when I went, but maybe I just got lucky. I have experienced a bunch of horrible traffic in Chicago though. Also are Houston summers really THAT hot? I’m under the impression that all weather feels the same after it hits 90 degrees with 100% and I can say we experience that out here in Chicago as well. I’ve never minded the hot, but we only get like 3 weeks of true heat here in Illinois if that. How long are those stretches of 90+ degree days in Houston? Is it any better than Chicago’s winter (Do you have to be cooped in 4 months out of the year due to the extreme temps?)
