I was listening to the most recent episode of Move the Sticks Podcast, which aired 12/31/19, and Greg Zuerlein was talking about a source inside the Texans coaching staff complained about O'Brien typically comes late to the offensive game plan meetings, after the game plan is developed. I think Zuerlein was trying to make two points: 1. Bill O'Brien does not deserve credit for the development of Watson 2. O'Brien is being bogged down by the GM responsibilities and his staff wants him to be more involved in the coaching aspects of operations

Personally I don't like Zuerlein. He was the scout last year that constantly stressed Ed Oliver should move to middle linebacker. He seemed confident in the analysis and the information given to him, likely coming from the OC or an offensive assistant.
