So I was at my friends place up in the woodlands and am coming down 99 to go home, somewhere between 249 and 290 on 99 I see this flash of light in the sky, and a blue streak with some glowing object in the middle go across the sky, then almost instantly disappear.

For a moment I thought it was the the lights from the street lamps or something reflecting off something in my car but then I realized this was outside and actually in the sky. Called up one of my friends who was taking the same route to get home and he tells me he saw it as well.

Must've been a decent sized meteor to be able to see it with the light pollution in the area, I understand meteors of this size meaningless Im just curious if anyone else saw it or we were just seeing things.
